Are there steps to be negotiated to move around the Resort?
No - there are ramps to access the pool area and car park
Are your apartments on a single level?
Yes – all are single level (once you are in the apartments there are no steps or stairs).
Do the apartments have wheelchair access?
Yes – our river view apartments have lift access and are wheelchair friendly subject to width.
Do you have any apartments at ground level?
No all of our apartments are elevated – this gives a great view and also allows the breeze to flow through the apartments.
Do you have any smoking apartments?
The Colonial Resort is a non-smoking property indoors or out butt it is only a short stroll to the river esplanade with lovely views and waste bins.
How many apartments are there in the Resort?
The resort has nineteen 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments.
How many stairs are there to access the pool view apartments?
There are a total of 16 steps to the first level apartments with one mid-level landing and a total of 32 steps to access the 2nd level apartments with two mid-level landings.
What direction are your apartments facing?
All of our apartments are north facing with a north/south orientation.
What is the bedding configuration of the apartments?
Bedding is as follows:
- 3 Bedroom River View Apartments 1x King bed, 1 x queen bed, and 2 x single beds
- 1 Bedroom River View Apartments 1x King bed
- Pool View apartments 1x King bed, and 2 x single beds
- 1 Bedroom pool View apartments 1x King bed
Which apartments have lift access?
The lift services our 3 bedroom and one bedroom river view apartments. Our 1 and 2 bedroom pool view apartments have stair access.
Inside the apartments
Do the apartments have decks?
All of our apartments have large north facing decks with outdoor furniture.
Do the apartments have hair driers?
Do the apartments have laundry facilities?
Yes - all have a laundry, tub, automatic washing machine, clothes drier, iron and ironing board.
Do the apartments have spa baths?
Yes - all have spa baths except the 1 bedroom river and pool view apartments.
Do your apartments have air conditioning?
Yes - ducted air-conditioning as well as ceiling fans.
How many Foxtel channels do you have?
The resort has 10 complimentary Foxtel channels in addition to the free to air television channels.
How many televisions do your apartments have?
All of our apartments have 2 televisions.
What appliances are there in the apartment kitchens?
The apartments have full kitchens; with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, ceramic cook top, range hood, oven, microwave, jug and toaster. Our One Bedroom River view apartment has a convention microwave, ceramic cook top but no oven - even better excuse for dining out!
What outdoor furniture do your apartments have?
All of our apartments have an outdoor table and chairs and a sun lounger.
Do you supply pool towels?
Yes - available for hire from reception.
Do you supply toilet paper and toiletries?
These are self-catering apartments however; we do provide a complimentary starter pack of essentials for your convenience. A convenience store is located adjacent to the front of the resort.
How often are the apartments serviced?
On a weekly basis for stays of 8 nights or more. However, we can arrange servicing at a frequency to suit your needs for an additional charge.
Is linen supplied?
Yes all bed linen, bath towels, hand towels, bath mats, tea towels are in the apartments.
Can we have a fold away bed in the apartment?
Yes - we can arrange a foldaway bed for a modest additional charge if the apartment bedding configuration is not suitable.
Each of our apartments has a maximum number of guests permitted in the apartment;
- 3 Bedroom River View Apartments
Quoted tariffs are for 6 guests (including children and infants). The maximum number of guests permitted is 7. An extra guest per night charge applies for the 7th guest.
- 2 Bedroom Pool View Apartments
Quoted tariffs are for 4 guests (including children and infants). The maximum number of guests is 5. An extra guest per night charge applies for the 5th guest.
- 1 Bedroom Apartments
Quoted tariffs are for 2 guests (including children & infants) which is the maximum occupancy.
We are bringing an infant do you provide bedding?
Yes - portacot, mattress, linen), highchairs, strollers and buggies are available for hire. Through our affiliation with a local hire company we can hire almost any item that you may require. To avoid disappointment please contact us prior to your arrival.
Do you have a spa pool?
Yes - an outdoor spa pool located beside the main pool.
How deep is your pool?
Our 25m heated pool is lagoon style gently sloping entry with handrail to a max depth of 1.7m.
Is the Pool suitable for children?
Yes with an adjacent wading pool at a constant depth of 800mm.
What are the pool hours?
Our pool hours are 7am - 9pm daily.
Car parking – How many cars can I park?
All of our apartments have allocated parking in our secure undercover car park. 3 bedroom 2 Our 1 and 2 bedroom apartments 1 park. Additional vehicles can be parked in our outdoor car park.
I want to bring my boat and an extra car with me, is there somewhere to park it?
Ample outdoor parking for that extra vehicles and/or boats for our resort guests.
Is the parking free?
Yes - complimentary
What is the height clearance of the undercover car park?

How far away is public transport?
The Noosa Ferry and Translink bus stops are both approximately 150 meters away from the front of our resort.
How far is it to Hastings Street?
Hastings St is a 35 minute walk, 5 minute drive or bus trip, or a 15 minute ferry ride.
How far is it to the Noosa River?
Our resort is on the terrace overlooking the river.
What time can we check in?
Check in time is 2pm to 4.30pm – if your arrival is going to be outside this time, or on the weekend, please contact us to make arrangements for the collection of your apartment key.
What time is check out?
Checkout time is 10am on the day of departure.
